2009

MISSION'S TROPHY 2009 - FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The tournament was initiated in 2009 by Mohammed Nabeel, Founding Member of Mission20 and currently the CEO of Mission's Trophy and Sports Initiatives. It started as an under-18 tournament which was organized for fun out of his passion towards football. 8 teams played for over a month, team Alyans won the title giving a tough competition to team Partners with the score 2-0. The Chief Guest for the final match was Irfan Ibrahim, the Qatar national team athlete, who presented the trophy to the winning team. The football tournament was later titled as the "Mission's Trophy" in the final match.

2010

MISSION'S TROPHY 2010 - FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The tournament was held again in 2010 to support the Qatar 2022 World Cup bid. It was in accordance with the Qatar’s FIFA 2022 Bidding Committee. The Mission's Trophy had progressed a lot in 2010 due to the support of the Bidding Committee and the sponsors. The reason behind supporting the Qatar 2022 World Cup Bid was to spread awareness and help in creating a healthier lifestyle publically. The sponsors and partners played an important role for the huge success and publicity of the under 21 tournament with the participation of 10 teams. The final match was covered by Al Kass Sports Channel. Moreover, the tournament was won by Real Madrid Qatar by 5-2 against Al Gannas in the finals. The key support was provided by the Qatar Football Association - Technical Committee.

MISSION'S TROPHY 2011 - FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

In 2011, the football tournament’s size was escalated to under-23 tournament. It was just the third edition and already 16 teams participated to fight for the title. During the 3 rd annual tournament, Mission20 realized that there was no competition like the Mission’s Trophy in the community, the standard, the age of the organizers, the freedom of participation, the kind of sportsmanship the players showed and the cause it supported. Just after the final match and the award ceremony each year, next question always asked is ‘When are you organizing it next?’. MT 2011 was supported by the Qatar Football Association - Technical Committee and sponsored by nine very well-known sponsors in the country, that are, the Satco International, Olympic Sports, Al Muftah rent-a-car, Imalco, Deccan Deewan Restaurant, Doha Grand Hotel, Solanki Trading & Contracting and Imprint. The final match was held between teams Fareeq Shamaliya and Al Gannas. Team Fareeq Shamaliya won the match defeating Al Gannas with a score of 6-5. Amjad Musa of team Fareeq Shamaliya was awarded with a trophy for scoring the highest goals in the tournament. Also, Abu backer of Al Gannas won the best player award. The matches of the Mission's Trophy 2011 were held at the QFA Technical Committee Pitch.

2012

MISSION'S TROPHY 2012 - FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The 4th edition of the Mission's Trophy was held in 2012. Like the previous edition, it was an under-23 tournament with the participation of 16 teams. This tournament was backed by the Qatar Football Association - Technical Committee and went on for a period of one and a half month. As the organization and the Mission’s Trophy grew, the progress was seen in the popularity and organizing standard. The Media Partner for this tournament was the CAMPUS magazine. The other amazing sponsors were Imalco, Al Muftah Rent-a-Car, Solanki Trading & Contracting, Imprint W.L.L and GoMosafer.com, who helped in successfully organizing the tournament. The final match was between the Team Ghanim and the Black Day. The Black Day defeated the Team Ghanim, and was declared as the winners of the Mission's Trophy 2012. There is a picture of the winning team with the Mission's Trophy given below. Furthermore, the Black Day donated their cash prize for the education cause which the tournament supported. This not only raised funds for a good social cause, but also helped create awareness among the people and further motivated them.

MISSION'S TROPHY 2013 - FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

In 2013, the tournament again had 16 teams participating for the under-23 tournament. The 5th edition of the Mission's Trophy was another successful tournament, as it helped to raise funds of QR 15000 for charity. The amount was donated to Kainat Foundation to promote education for the underprivileged. The sponsors for this event were Al Muftah Rent-a-Car and CNAQ Student's Representative Council. Additionally, the Media Partner was the CAMPUS Magazine, EVNTNXT media and events was the Creative Partner and Imprint was the Print Partner for the Mission's Trophy tournament. The final match was held at Al Arabi Club; between the team Madina Khalifa Junubiya and Latsio. Madina Khalifa Junubiya, however, won the match, defeating the Latsio by a score of 4-2. By the 6th edition of the Mission's Trophy, the tournament has evolved and organized at a much higher level. Although again there were 16 teams participating for the under-23 tournament, the event was a huge success. The teams in the tournament of 2014 were- Shabaab Bu Hamour, Shabaab Markhiya, Shabaab Muaither, Qatar Warriors, Freeq Ghanem, Doha Devils, PTI, Legends, Atletico Bin Omran, Real Murra, Time Pass, AC Capital, Freeq Gharaffa, Madina Khalifa Junubiya, Madina Khalifa Shemaliya and Shabaab Rayyan. The Gold Sponsor for the Mission's Trophy 2014 was Top Uniform whereas the Silver Sponsors were CNAQ Student Representative Council and Al Muftah Rent-a-Car. In addition to the above mentioned sponsors, there were supporting partners in all fields like in Media, it was the CAMPUS Magazine, the Print Partner was Imprint, EVNTNXT media and events was the Creative partner and special supporters like SATCO International and Care n Cure. The Mission's Trophy was won by the team Shabab Bu Hamour, who proved themselves as the best among the other 15 teams that participated in the tournament.
